A Hanging Heart Valentine Day Child Craft

It's easy to make this hanging heart from our Valentine Day child craft section. Decorate your hearts with stickers, markers and glitter for a special holiday decoration this February.

Suitable for the youngest of crafters, you'll want to make several of these hanging hearts. Our thanks go out to 3-year old Yael, and 4-year old Tami for helping us with this craft and proving that we only include real crafts for real kids!

• Pencil
• Colored construction paper
• Scissors
• Glitter, markers, stickers
• Colored yarn or ribbon

Instructions

• Fold 2 pieces of construction paper in half
• Using the folded edge, trace half a heart and cut out
  
• On one heart, cut half way down the center fold starting from the top of the heart
• On the second heart, cut half way up the center fold starting from the tip of the heart
• Decorate with drawings, glitter or stickers
• Slide one heart onto the other
• Attach a piece of yarn or ribbon to the top of the hearts
• Hang as a neat Kid Valentine Craft Decoration
