A Toilet Paper Roll Butterfly Craft for Kids

This easy child craft is bound to bring a smile to your face! Made as a simple paper craft, kids can practice their cutting skills and learn that different shapes can be used to create all kinds of things. Our butterfly is perfect as a Valentine's Day craft or for use as a party decoration. Just print out our template, get out your scissors and be ready to have some fun!

• Template
• Toilet paper roll
• Colored construction paper
• Scissors
• Glue
• Pipe cleaner

Instructions

• Print out the template
• Trace onto colored construction paper
• Cut out template pieces
• Glue the sqare piece (see template) onto your TP roll, or
• Paint the toilet paper roll
• Glue the hearts onto one another, progressing from smallest to biggest
• Attach with glue to back of TP roll
• Attach butterfly face to front of TP roll
• Bend pipe cleaner in half, roll the ends around your finger to form antennae
• Glue in back of head, but attach to TP roll
