Turn Heads with our Holiday Headbands
Here are a couple of St Patricks Day Kids Crafts that are sure to "turn heads". Shamrock headbands are easy to make and fun to wear. At easy-child-crafts.com we offer you several different styles....but all are simple to craft.
Start off with some construction paper, scissors, glue and markers. Then move on to headbands and chenille stems. Don't forget your camera...your kids are going to have a blast! Shamrock Crowns:
Supplies:
- Green construction paper, cardstock or foam craft sheets
- Assorted colored construction paper
- Scissors
- Stapler and glue

Shamrock template
- Markers, colored pencils, glitter, stickers for decoration
Instructions:
- Cut a 3" strip from the construction paper. Measure the child's head for the correct length.
- Don't staple the strip just yet. Let the kids decorate their crown with crayons, markers, stickers, etc.
- Use our
shamrock template for more decorating ideas
- Staple the ends of the paper strip to form a band
- There you go! Now "crown" your kids and you're ready to start the festivities
Shamrock Headbands:
Supplies:
- Assorted colored, plastic headbands
- Chenille stems (pipe cleaners)
- Green construction paper, cardstock or foam craft sheets
- Scissors
- Stapler/glue

Shamrock template
- Markers, colored pencils, glitter, stickers for decoration
Instructions:
- Attach two pipe cleaners to a plastic headband
- Cut out two shamrocks per headband (click here for our template)
- Decorate the shamrocks with glitter, crayons....the works!
- Attach the shamrocks to the end of the pipe cleaners
- That's it! You're done!
