Spring Kid Crafts

As the weather brightens, it's time to head outside to spend time with our children. Take cues from nature. Easy child crafts can take shape as paper flower crafts, flower pot crafts, butterfly crafts and more.

Let your imaginations soar! Choose the coolest spring kid crafts, have some fun and enjoy spending time with your kids.

Supplies:

• Colored construction paper or foam sheets
• Colored straws
• Stapler
• Flower pot
• Modeling clay

Instructions:

• Cut heart shapes out of the foam sheets or construction paper
• Staple 3-4 heart shapes together (pointed ends facing center)
• Staple plastic straw to center of "flower"
• Stick in modeling clay placed in flower pot
• Decorate your flower pot using paint, stickers and glue

Supplies:

• Colored foam hearts or colored construction paper
• Pipe cleaners
• Google eyes
• White glue or glue stick
• Stapler

Instructions:

• Cut 4 heart shaped pieces from the foam or construction paper
• Glue one smaller heart shape on to another larger heart shape
• Glue the two hearts together at their tips (see picture)
• Wrap 2 different colored pipe cleaners together to make the body and antennae
• Glue onto joined hearts
• Glue on google eyes
