A School Bus Coloring Picture

Great Back to School Fun

Use this school bus coloring picture to help teach traffic safety to young kids. This easy child craft can be put to so many uses. First, print out our template and let the kids color their buses. Then, print out the template as a placard and use for teaching road safety.

Personally, I use this as a teaching prop in an ESL lesson for younger kids. My group of 2-3 year olds love to "wear" their busses and zoom around the room on their way to a make-believe school as they learn the words "bus" and "I am the driver..."

No matter how you use it, this school bus coloring picture will provide you with lots of easy child craft fun.

Supplies

  • Printer
  • Our bus template
  • Colored paper for placards
  • White paper for coloring pages
  • String or ribbon
  • Crayons, markers or paints
  • Hole punch

Instructions

  • Print out our bus template
  • For placard: print out on colored construction paper
  • Cut out truck shape
  • Laminate
  • Make two holes at the top of the truck
  • Lace with string, ribbon, or a shoelace
  • That's it! You're ready to roll!
