We love to craft with the simple stuff. Anything we find at home is fair game. So when it comes to Easter basket ideas, we were "on it"
in a flash. We started brainstorming at the kitchen table and next thing you know...we were "eyeing" the milk carton. We chugged a lot of milk to make these
two personalized Easter baskets.
Ready to get your craft game on?
Let's take a look at our super easy instructions! Here's what you'll need:
An empty milk carton
Scissors or a serrated knife (adult supervision here!)
Colored construction paper or
Stickers and small objects for decoration
Rinse out an empty milk carton
Using a serrated knife, cut the milk carton in half
Mark a piece of colored construction paper to fit the around the outside of the carton. Glue in place...OR
Paint the sides of the milk carton with paint and let dry....your choice!
Punch 2 holes on opposite sides of the carton (for your handle)
Braid two pipe cleaners and place through the holes to form a handle
Decorate the sides of the "basket" with markers, stickers, buttons, glitter...you name it!
Fill with Easter "grass" and other holiday goodies
