Frogs make great subject matter when it comes to crafting and we've got our share of frog crafts! Our latest frog inspired craft is made from a simple white paper plate.
Isn't he cute? And he's getting ready to swallow that "delicious" looking fly that he caught with his moveable tongue! Slurrrrrppppppp!
Are you ready to get crafting? Here's what you'll need:
- One white paper plate
- Green tempra paint and paint brush
- Red Construction paper
- Black marker
- Glue stick
- Our template
Paint your paper plate green. Set aside until completely dry.
Print out our template. Cut out the separate pieces, using red construction paper for the tongue (or you could just color the tongue red)
Cut out the eyes and glue them to the top of the paper plate.
Draw a big mouth onto the painted paper plate. Cut along the line. Pull the tongue through the slit you've made.
That's it! Now you can play with your frog and move his tongue so that he swallows his fly!
