Celebrate Easter with an Easy Paper Plate Bunny Basket!

Bunnies seem to dominate at Easter time, so we adopted that theme for a new paper plate bunny craft. And what's cool about the concept is that you can use it as an Easter basket! The instructions couldn't be easier, so grab the kiddies and get ready for some Easter fun!

Ready to get started? Here's what you'll need:

Materials

One white paper plate
Crayons or colored markers
White construction paper
Pink pompom
Black yarn
Wiggle eyes
Cotton balls
Scissors
Stapler
Glue

Instructions:

Fold the paper plate in half. Staple along the fold and half-way up each side of the plate.

With your marker, draw a circle for the eye and draw the leg. Check our picture for reference.

Glue the wiggle eye inside the circle that you drew.

Glue a pink pompom to the left corner of the folded plate. Also glue three short pieces of black yarn for the whiskers.

Glue a couple of cotton balls to the right hand corner of the plate.

Cut two ears from the white construction paper. Make them extra long because they will become the handle to your basket. Color the inside of the ear pink, glue in place and then staple together at the top (to form the basket handle). That's it...you're ready to go looking for those Easter eggs!

That's it! You just made your very own paper plate Easter bunny basket!
