Build a House with Cool Milk Carton Crafts!

Cut off the bottom and you have a great basket....Use it for Easter or Halloween or any other celebration! Placed on its side, a milk carton can become a truck or a boat.

We've decided to show you how to make a row of houses!

Take a look at what we came up with!

Materials

• A one-liter milk cartons, washed and dried
• Construction paper
• Foam sheets
• Scissors
• glue stick, white glue or a glue gun (adult supervision required)
• Markers, crayons, colored pencils (your choice)

Instructions

Wash out your milk cartons and let dry completely.

Place your dried carton on a sheet of colored construction paper. Measure how much paper you'll need to cover the milk carton on all sides. Cut out and glue to your milk carton.

When that's dry, go ahead and decorate.. The roof is made from a rectangular shaped piece of construction paper. We decorated ours with some red markers and drew shingles. You can come up with ideas of your own.

That's it....let the glue dry before you start playing with your new milk carton house! And thanks for recycling....it's important!
