A Special Delivery Valentine Mailbox
Here's a kid valentine craft idea that will keep the mailman smiling! Collect all your holiday mail this Valentine's Day in an amazing mailbox. Made from an empty cereal box, your kids can create a mailbox to take to school and keep their Valentine's Day cards in one place. Use ours as an example, or come up with ideas of your own. Just adapt the instructions found below. It's that easy!

Supplies
- Cereal box
- Toilet paper roll
- Pencil
- Colored construction paper
- Red pipe cleaner
- Scissors
- Glue stick
Instructions
- Cut construction paper to cover an empty cereal box (use the box as your template)
- Glue the construction paper to each side of the cereal box
- Cut a slot on the top side of your mailbox...or
- Paint the cereal box with acrylic or poster paint
- Use our template for the toilet roll butterfly and assemble according to instructions
- Cut a strip of green construction paper for grass, glue in place
- Glue the TP butterfly to the box
- Write a holiday message: "Be My Valentine" (for example)
