An Easy Hanging Dreidel

Hanukkah crafts for preschool kids make the holidays fun for everyone.

Hanukkah crafts for preschool kids! There's nothing like decorating your home to get into the holiday spirit....and Hanukkah time is no exception. Break out your scissors and construction paper for this special (and easy!) Hanukkah activity. Your preschool aged kids will love cutting and constructing these easy hanging dreidels.

Don't stop yourselves after making one of these Hanukkah crafts for preschool kids! Make a bunch, and hang them throughout your home!

Supplies

  • Scissors
  • Heavy weight construction paper
  • Stapler or tape
  • String

Instructions

  • Draw two identical dreidel shapes on your construction paper. Cut them out using your scissors
  • Cut a slit halfway down the middle of one dreidel. (Top to middle)
  • Cut a slit halfway up the middle of your second dreidel (Bottom to middle)
  • Fit the dreidels together by sliding one on top of the other
  • Staple or tape the string to the top of the dreidels and hang it up as a decoration
