A Hanukkah Craft Idea

Spin Some 3-D Dreidel Garlands

An easy Hanukkah craft idea from easy-child-crafts.com Here's an easy Hanukkah craft idea to kick off the holiday season this year. String a garland of 3-dimensional dreidels and hang them throughout your home. All you need is some colored construction paper, scissors, glue and some colored ribbon. Your kids will enjoy making this easy child craft and it will get them into the holiday spirit.

So gather up the materials you'll need for this holiday craft, put on some Hanukkah music, and get the kids involved is some holiday decoration making! It's fun....and it's easy.

Supplies

  • Pencil
  • Colored construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick
  • Colored yarn or ribbon
  • Hole punch

Instructions

  • Choose four colors of construction paper
  • Use our template to cut out a lot of dreidel shapes
  • Fold the dreidels in half (make a good crease)
  • Place one dreidel on the table, fold side facing upwards
  • Put glue on one side of the dreidel
  • Glue a second folded dreidel to one side of the first dreidel, matching center lines
  • Take a third folded dreidel and glue it to the remaining side of the first one (again matching center lines)
  • Glue the inner flaps of the second and third dreidels together
  • Repeat these steps until you have a string of as many dreidels as you want
  • Punch holes near the top of the dreidels. Run string through the holes and hang for decoration.
