An egg carton caterpillar craft is one of those classic easy child crafts that all kids will enjoy making. Made with materials found in most homes, the end result of this project will depend on the age of your "crafter". The older the child, the more sophisticated the results will be. But even the youngest of children will enjoy making this art project.
Start saving those egg cartons, because this is a craft idea your children will want to repeat from time to time. Break out the scissors, glue, stickers and crayons. Your kids are about to make their very own depiction of the garden friendly caterpillar.
Now let's take a look at what you'll need to complete this project.
- A cardboard or styrofoam egg carton
- Paint, markers or crayons
- Craft eyes (optional)
1. Cut a length of "cups". (At least 3 per caterpillar)
2. Let your child decorate the cups according to his or her own liking....the sky's the limit!
3.Attach the google eyes and pipe cleaner antennae.
