Easy Tips On How to Make a Puppet!
It's so easy to make puppets and you don't need fancy materials or any special know-how.

In fact, we made all of these crafts with things we found laying around the house. A brown paper bag, an odd sock, scrap pieces of felt and some construction paper were all we used and we had loads of fun too!

The Importance of Puppet Play

Learning through play is an important aspect in any child's education, and puppets can make any learning experience fun! Think about it...telling a story using puppet characters breathes new life into any plot! And kids can easily take an active part in the story-telling process.

Ever tried to coax a quiet, bashful or shy kid into talking? You guessed it! Puppet play can lend a hand in working with introverted children. The great thing about puppets is that they can be made out of almost any material. Old socks, popsicle sticks, scraps of paper, silverware (both plastic or wooden) and empty plastic bottles all make a great base for making a puppet! Trust us on this one, not only is puppet making easy, but it's fun too! Try one of our ideas or come up with your own!
