A Tree Topping Star

Easy Christmas Crafts--Star Tree Topper Easy Christmas crafts let your kids help out at holiday time. Our kid craft star ornament is simple to make, is colorful and makes a great tree topper for the family tree. But don't make just one....these stars can be hung on doors, windows, or displayed on the mantle as a cheerful decoration.

Materials are simple: wooden skewers, tempra paint and some pipe cleaners. True to our motto here at easy-child-crafts.com.

Supplies

  • Notebook paper (optional)
  • Ruler and pencil
  • Scissors
  • Wooden skewers
  • Tempra paint
  • Pipecleaners

Instructions

  • Draw a star shape on the paper
  • Cut the pointed tip off each skewer
  • Paint the skewers using tempra paint
  • Using the star that you drew as a guide, form the skewers into a star shape
  • Attach the skewers to one another using the pipe cleaners (see picture)
  • Wasn't that easy?
