An Easy Cupcake Recipe for Valentine's Day

Golden Butter Cupcake Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup butter or margarine (1 1/2 sticks), softened
- 3/4 cup whole milk
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Line twenty-four muffin pan cups with paper liners
- Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until combined. Use a mixer at low speed to insure the proper rising of the cupcakes
- Add butter, milk, vanilla and eggs and beat until blended
- Beat at high speed for 1-2 more minutes until batter is creamy
- Spoon batter into muffin cups. Bake 20-25 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Immediately remove cupcakes from pans and cool completely on wire rack
- When cupcakes are cool, frost with your favorite icing.
