Easy Crafts Using Recycled Material
Easy Crafts Using Recycled Material!
At our house we've been recycling for a long time so crafts using recycled material came naturally to us. When we need supplies for a craft idea, we just head out to our recycling bin.
Our latest idea uses tin cans to make cute desk accessories you can use to organize scissors, colored pencils, crayons, etc. I took mine to work as a pencil holder and to organize my paper clips.
The idea is super easy. Here's what you'll need:
Materials
- A tin can (we used an empty tuna can and a pickle can)
- Wrapping paper or fabric scraps
- Scissors
- Ruler
- Glue
Instructions
Wash and dry your tin can.
Place your can on its side on a piece of wrapping paper or fabric scrap and measure how much paper/fabric you need to cover the can. Mark with the ruler and cut.
Spread glue on the surface of your tin can and carefully glue the fabric/paper on to the can.
That's it...wasn't that easy. Check out some of the other crafts we've found while researching this page.
Now it's time for you to come up with your own ideas for recycled crafts ! We'd love to see what you made. Grab a camera, snap a photo of your finished craft and submit your craft!
