Chocolate Covered Marshmallows
Spangler Candy has come up with a series of crafts and would like to share them with you.
These are easy, fun for the entire family and you are more than welcome to use any, as long as you include a resource link back to where you picked up the article.
The one I would like to share in particular with you is great for a little kids.
What you need:
• StrawMallows
• Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips
• Parchment Paper
• Clear Cellophane
• Skinny Ribbon
• Lollipop Sticks (optional)
Take your StrawMallows and place on a 12" by 12" piece of parchment paper about half an inch apart. If you think you may get a little messy with your drizzle, feel free to give yourself more parchment paper to work on.
Measure 1 cup of chocolate chips into a Ziploc bag. Seal the bag and microwave for 30 seconds, turn over, and microwave for another 30 minutes or until completely melted.
Snip the corner of the Ziploc bag to make a hole about 1/8 of an inch up. The chocolate will flow out of this, so tip the bag up before cutting.
When chocolate starts flowing, start going back and forth over StrawMallows in order to drizzle across. You can also control the thickness of the drizzle with how hard you push the chocolate through the bag.
Place drizzled StrawMallows StrawMallows into the refrigerator for a half an hour before wrapping.
Remove from refrigerator and peel off of parchment paper. Place one strawberry at a time into clear 5" circle of cellophane, seal the cellophane at the top with a thin ribbon. The optional lollipop sticks can be used if you'd prefer to make your strawberry, chocolate covered marshmallows into lollipops!
