Magnets for Your Back to School Bulletin Boards!

Why spend money on magnets when you can make your own? Decorate your back to school bulletin boards with these easy to make magnets. You can also get creative and come up with your own ideas.

To get started, here's what you'll need:

For the bus magnet, here's what you'll need:

Materials

Black and yellow colored foam sheets
A black marker
Scissors
Glue (I used UHU liquid glue)
A magnet or magnetic tape

Instructions:

1. Cut the foam sheets in the shape of a bus (yellow for the body, black for the wheels). Use our picture for reference.

2. Glue the wheels onto the body of the bus. Let dry.

3. Using the black marker, draw a window, steering wheel, and write "School Bus" below the window.

4. Glue your picture in the window of the bus.

5. Glue a magnet or a piece of magnetic tape to the back of the bus.

For the apple magnet, here's what you'll need:

Materials

Red, green, and brown colored foam sheets
Scissors
Glue (I used UHU liquid glue)
A magnet or magnetic tape

Instructions:

1. Cut out an apple, leaf and stem shape from the foam sheets. Use our picture for reference.

2. Glue the stem and the leaf to the apple.

3. Glue a magnet or a piece of magnetic tape to the back of the apple.

That's it! You're done! Now you're ready to hang important notes and reminders on all of your bulletin boards!
