A recent study by the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development indicates that early detection of reading problems in young children can be offset. The research suggests that about 85 percent of those likely to become poor readers can be identified as early as age five by testing their ability to rapidly name numbers, letters, and letter sounds.

We all want our kids to be good readers. So give yours a headstart to becoming a good reader by teaching them to identify letters of the alphabet. Use our coloring pages (drawn by resident artist, Omri Eshel) and ease them into learning letter recognition in a fun and easy manner.
