A 2002 study by the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development indicates that early detection of reading problems in young children can be offset. The research suggests that about 85 percent of those likely to become poor readers can be identified as early as age 5 by testing the ability to rapidly name numbers, letters, and letter sounds.
Give your child a headstart to becoming a good reader by teaching him/her to identify letters of the alphabet. Use our coloring pages (drawn by resident artist, Omri Eshel) and ease your child into learning letter recognition in a fun and easy manner.
Break out the crayons and have fun with your kids!
